Wood Carving Demonstrations
Masters of the Chainsaw is a group of the nation’s top professional chainsaw sculptors, dedicated to promoting and preserving the integrity of the art form and it’s performance.

The beautiful sculptures are then sold at the train station on Sunday, February 17 at 4 PM. Proceeds benefit the Jim Thorpe Chamber of Commerce.

Ice Carving Demonstrations
Ice Carving demonstrations by Sculpted Ice Works to be held both days of event in Asa Packer Park and at Opera House Square.

Concerts at the Mauch Chunk Opera House
Friday and Saturday evening, February 15 and 16

The Famous Jim Thorpe Mug Walk
Buy a souvenir Jim Thorpe Mug at the train station for only $10 (benefits the Chamber of Commerce). It is white and tastefully trimmed in maroon, and features a color version of the Jim Thorpe Victorian logo. Businesses all over town will fill it for you, free!


Kids' Shows with Al Grout
Al Grout is a sensational entertainer that has been performing since 1977, and does over 200 shows a year. This performing artist is tops in family entertainment. Audiences from small children to senior citizens will enjoy the most difficult and entertaining juggling being done today. Shows on Saturday (at the Opera House) and Sunday (at the Mauch Chunk Museum) both at 2 PM. FREE!

Horse-Drawn Carriage Rides
Go back in time when carriages filled the streets of Old Mauch Chunk! Weather permitting.
